Homework

Based on first grade expectations, students will not be assigned daily homework.

 

That being said...

   READ READ READ!

I encourage you to read at home. You child can be reading independently, reading to other people, reading to stuffed/real animals, and listening to reading throughout the year.

   USE THIS EXTRA TIME AS A FAMILY!

Your child is continually learning from the world around them. Use no homework as an opportunity for adventure, love, and quality time.

PLANNERS/BINDERS/GREEN FOLDERS: Please initial your student's planner each night after they read it to you. Binders should be returned the next day. I will be checking student planners at the beginning of each day - this is a great place to leave me a quick note, update or question!
